Sally Chow, founder of Sally's Music & Art Studio is a certified teacher of the Royal Conservatory of Music & an Early Childhood Educator. She is an enthusiastic and passionate music teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience.
Sally's Music & Art Studio has opened since 2006 to nurture young musicians. As a passionate Music & Art School, we take great pride in every course we teach. We have a highly interactive and engaging teaching style that has made us a popular Music & Art School in Toronto. "Do Re Mi" Music Program
Base on RCM early childhood music curriculum & Kodaly method. There are challenging singing games, music & movement, plus various percussion instruments playing. Children will expose to essential components of music such as beat, rhythm, tempo and dynamics. Age-appropriate music performance is a must in each class to nurture music appreciation.
Age: 3 - 5 years old
Time: Monday 5:30 - 6:15pm
Date: Jan 19 - Mar 16
(No class on Feb 16 due to Family Day)
Course Fee: $160 (8classes)

Art Program
Emphasize the development of techniques, composition, space & proportion in drawing; we also foster artistic talent and nurture creativity & organizational skills through the use of pencil crayons, markers, watercolour painting, oil pastels, acrylic painting and the creation of unique arts & crafts.
Age: 5 - 13 years old
Time: Tue/ Wed / Thurs / Sat & Sun
Fees: $19 per class (including material fee)
Annual Concert
We hold a concert every year to give an opportunity for our students to share their joy of learning and achievement. All of our students will be performing on stage & receive personalized trophies. We video the entire concert & upload it to our YouTube channel every year.
Content: piano and violin recitals, duets, trio & guest performance

FAQ
How long does it take for students to move on to the next level?
There is no absolute answer to this question because this depends on each students' progress. Consistent practice is the key. Regularly, it takes about 1 year to move on to the next level.
Do I need to have an instrument at home?
Can I meet the teacher before class starts?
Yes, and usually we will perform an assessment for students prior to the start of lessons.
Can I sit in on the classes?
We welcome parents to sit in on classes. However, we encourage parents to not interrupt the classes and leave questions until the end.
Are all teachers qualified?
Our teachers are carefully chosen and certified. Selected for experience, methods & attitudes. They are all fluent in English, Cantonese/ Mandarin.
